She was predeceased by: her grandmother Bettye; her uncle Bryan; and her pet Muggz. She is survived by: her parents, Beverly Smrekar and Jeff Smrekar; her brother Tommy Bess (Minaka); her niece Sidney; her nephews, Trevor and Donovan; her aunts and uncles, Anna (Keith), Marcia (Bryan), Gary and Jeff; her kitty Gypsy; Steve Bess.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Schermesser Eberhardt Funeral Home (600 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, OH 44319). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
