Nancy C. Bauer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025, at the age of 76, Nancy C. Bauer (Akron, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Cordier and Luella Heupel Cordier; her daughter Tammi Crain; and her grandson Asher Cole. She is survived by: her husband David R. Bauer Jr.; her daughter Sherri Bauer Landis (Mike) of Colorado Springs, CO; her son-in-law Will Crain of Leland, NC; her sons, David R. Bauer III (Sheila) of Green, OH and Col. Erik M. Bauer (Izabela); her siblings, Kristine Karnezis (George) of Portland, OR, Suzi D'Annolfo of West Hartford, CT and Jim Cordier (Betty) of Mesa, AR; her siblings-in-law, Bill, Barb Bauer of Mogadore and Michael Bauer of Tallmadge; and her grandchildren, Alissa Cole (Luke), David Bauer (Hayley), Ashley Spontarelli (Mark), Celeste Baisden (Justin), Alyssa Garcia (Anthony), Josh Landis, Jessi Jones (Tori), Caleb Landis (Ashleigh), Levi, Abby Bauer, Hailey Cross (Kenneth), Isaac Bauer and Henry Bauer. She is also survived by her 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (3809 Mogadore Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Nancy's memory to the Mogadore Historical Society, 87 South Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, OH. 44260.
