Patricia Bigelow Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Bigelow of Akron, Ohio, born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patricia Bigelow to pay them a last tribute.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Patricia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her husband Doug; and her children, Tracie Baumgardner (Bruce), Ginger Marchetta (Daniel), Cheryl Dunphy (Patrick), Kip Bigelow (Tracy) and Abbe Kennis (Don). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two cherished sisters, and many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (2800 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Hilary Catholic Church (2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333).
