With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia A. Carson of Akron, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Spellman and Betty Spellman; her husband Edward Carson; her sister Marguerite Marie of Toledo; her brother-in-law Leo Carson; and her granddaughter Tricia Carson.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Rhonda), Mike (Sonja), Tim, Steve, Eileen Hostetler (Jason) and Carol Sawmiller (Jed); her grandchildren, Nathan (Kelly), Jeremy (Mary Ann), Mitchell, Lucas, Derek (Jenny), Scott (Gi Yoon), Jennifer, Nick and Ben Sawmiller; her great grandchildren, Owen, Pierce, Oliver, Lyla, Ira, Evelyn, Miles, Katie and Lucy; her brother Thom Spellman (Jean); and her sister-in-law Sandy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
