She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hiles and Doris Whitmore (Penrod). She is survived by: her husband Gary Keener of West Salem; her daughter Jennifer Apple (Ryan); her grandchildren, Royce of Roanoke, Virginia, Franklin of Roanoke, Virginia, Thomas of Roanoke, Virginia and Tabitha Apple of Roanoke, Virginia; and her siblings, Betty Hileman (Ned), Alberta Lambert (Don), Susie Loparo (Sandy) and Carl "Butch" Hiles (Lori).
