She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Herman and Helen Mary Shankland (Whitman); her husband Tom Koch; her sons, Michael of Lebanon, Ohio and Terry; her daughter-in-law Sara of Grosse Pointe, Michigan; her grandchildren, Kayla, Hannah, Rebecca and Joshua; her children, Nathan, Olivia, Cecilia, Peter Lombardi and Steen Hagemann of Aalborg, Denmark.; and her siblings, Theresa Nitz (Stan) of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, John Shankland (Colleen) of Doylestown, Jerry Shankland of Bushnell, Florida., Evelyn Bradshaw, Anthony and James Shankland. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
