He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hughes and Viola Hughes; and his siblings, James Hughes, Mary Ann Heitz and Rita Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Hughes; his children, Linda Herman (John) and Dan Hughes (Traci); his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Riley, Austin, Brooke, Dayne and Joelle; and his great grandchild Ava.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (2800 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels (1686 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Copley, OH 44321).
