Slaughter of Akron, Ohio, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband George "Jim" Sr.; her children, Carla Heisa (Martin), Patricia Solombrino and George Slaughter Jr.; her stepchildren, Carol Speelman (Rick), Jane Hicks (Dave) and Jim Slaughter (Laural); her grandchildren, Erika, Nick, Adam, George III and Callen; and her pet Bandit. She is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several extended family members and friends.
