He is survived by: his wife Rue; his daughters, Rebecca Hixon, Robin Merideth (Doug) and Heidi Blum; his grandchildren, Ava Skrapics (Emma), Hannah Agosta (Austin), Sean Merideth, Dylan Davis, Evan Merideth, Emma Merideth, Allie Hixon and Naomi Klara Hanes; his great grandchild Oliver Skrapics; and his siblings, Lisa Bonham (Bob) and Fritz Blum (Kathy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wedgewood United Methodist (2350 Wedgewood Dr, Akron, OH 44312). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Wedgewood United Methodist Church (2350 Wedgewood Dr, Akron, OH 44312).
