He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emerson Clay Root and Olive May Root (Fields); his siblings, Patricia and David; and his sons, Andrew Björn and David Bengt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (3475 Copley Rd, Akron, OH 44321).
