It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachelle Barclay in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice Cobb-Benson; her brother Timothy Sullivan; her grandparents, Daniel and Wilma Cobb; her aunts, Cynthia Cobb, Betty Cobb and Raheem Martin (Father); her grandmothers, Ella Andrus and Thelma Barclay; her parents-in-law, Sonja Neal and Jethro Neal Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Nolan Shropshire and Sheridan Shropshire; and her niece Terri Russel.
She is survived by: her father Anthony Benson; her husband Shawn Barclay; her father-in-law Curtis Barclay (Denise); her daughters, Natasha Barclay and Amberr Martin; her grandchildren, Zechariah, Za'Niyah, Za'Kyi, Za'Kobi, Ze'Drick and Aden; her nephews, Jeremiah and Sam Sullivan; her brother Larry Sullivan (Patrina); her aunts, Mary Chatman (Scott) and Ester Matshal; her godson Lynte'Henderson; and her in-laws, Lonza (Marietta), Ella, Greg (Caroline), Terry (Stefania), Vernia, Rick (Kathy), Jeffrey Neal (Jazmar), Delana Robinson, Torrey Smith (Tierra), Angel, DeAndre and Curtis Barclay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
