It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard B. Carlson (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carlson and Nellie Carlson; his brother Larry; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Carlson, Kay and Richard Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Julianne Carlson; his sons, Erik Carlson (Shannon), David Henderson and Harry Henderson; his grandchildren, Andrew, Emma and Alivia; and his sister-in-law Helen Andrew. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 158 North Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278.
