With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Bukovey (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on February 21, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bukovey and Tresa Bukovey; his son Richard P. Bukovey Starr; and his sister Marilyn Murdock. He is survived by: his significant other Penny L. Bukovey; his children, David J. Bukovey (Joann), Jeff Bukovey (Karly), Wendy Colbert (Jerry) and Hope L. Clancy; his grandchildren, Hannah Coblentz (Andrew), Lexie Stutzman (Zachary), Alex Bukovey, Troy Bukovey, Michael Bukovey (Sierra Scott), Jessica Bukovey, Kameron Kukasky (April) and Brycen Colbert (Morgan Turner); his great grandchildren, Liam, Silas, Vera, Niya, Kayden and Karter; and his siblings, Barbara Freeman (Richard), Cheryl Herndon, Russell Foutty (Steffani) and Mary Just (John). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.
