He was predeceased by: his parents, Herald Marquess and Erna Marquess (Besenbruch); his brother Harold Marquess; and his siblings-in-law, Donald T. Primm, Raymond P. Primm and Shirley Rocco.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Marquess; his daughters, Marlana Marquess (Tim Mesecar) and Melissa Render (Brandon); his grandchildren, Olivia, Paige and Wade Mesecar; his siblings, Charles Marquess (Sandra) and Susan Price (Kevin); and his sisters-in-law, Regina Marquess and Sally Primm. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a local Animal Humane Society of one's choice in Richard's name.
