With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Martin of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on September 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Knapp and Henry Knapp; her husband James; her son James; and her siblings, Henry and Mary-Lou.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Ackerman (Floyd), Susan Armocida (John) and Deanna Benson (Mark Piurkowsky); her sister Patricia Broyles (David); her grandchildren, Brandise (Isaac), Brittany (Ryan), Jessica (Joe), Brielle (Jeremiah), Brenna (Adam), Emily, Jeremy, Jennifer (Jack), Kelsie and Dustin (Missy); her great grandchildren, Riley, Maggie, Josie, Archer, Whitley, Angie, Adam, Mackenzie, Caleb, Maleia, Amiyah, Aari, Isabella and Eliza; her grandchildren, Armando Joaquin and Susan Mabborang; and her great grandchildren, Anna and Carissa.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's or breast cancer research.
