With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rose Marie Yovanovich (Akron, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rose left this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Kostoff and Stoina Kostoff; and her brother Stevan. She is survived by: her brothers, Chris and John; her daughter Rose; her friends, Barb, Sophie and Violet; her daughters, Stephanie Pfeiffer (Michael) and Laura Yovanovich (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Jacob and Claire Yovanovich; her pets, Daphne and Gretchen; and also Stevan (Katherine). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Thomas Eastern Orthodox Church (555 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Akron, OH 44333). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Eastern Orthodox Church (555 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
