With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemary Moore in Akron, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Smith and Christina Alsum Smith; her husband Clifford Moore; her children, Rosetta Hatfield Hall and Rod Hatfield; her siblings, Elmer Smith II, Edward Smith and Estella Smith; her stepchildren, Noni Moore and Marcus Chumney; and her son-in-law Franklin Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Hatfield (Fran), Marvel Edinburgh (Joseph), Marsone Gilmore (Randy), Towana Hatfield (Larry), Lorie Garrett (Michael), Tanya McLaurin (Kieth), Thresa Jones and Leah Turner (Lamont); and her stepson Derrick Chumney. She is also survived by son; twenty-three grandchildren; sixty-nine great-grandchildren; and eight-five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
