She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael J. and Katherin; her brother Robert Zemla; and her son Timothy Murphy. She is survived by: her sister Kathy Filipowicz; her niece Tammy Filipowicz; her great-niece Chelsea Filipowicz; her friend Evelyn L.; her granddaughter Colleen Gates; her brother Michael Zemla (Brenda); her sister-in-law Debbie Zemla; her niece Tara Woody; her great-niece Molly Woody; her nephews, Jason, Josh Zemla, Shawn and Jamie Filipowicz; and also Heather Murphy-Gates (Rob).
A committal service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Dunn Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St, Akron, OH 44311). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
