He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Maurer of Big Creek and Sally (Mohamed) of Columbus; his nieces and nephews, Melissa Sloan of Akron, Iman Blata of Columbus, Fatima Blata (Mohannad) of Louisville, Abdullah Blata (Dana), Azubair (Amna) of Columbus and Albaraa Blata of Dubai; DeKayla. He is also survived by 3 great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home (788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, OH 44314). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
