With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell C Hurd (Akron, Ohio), born in Warren, Ohio, who passed away on July 9, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert E. Hurd, Sr. and Eloise Cain Hurd; and his brother Ken. He is survived by: his brother Jack; his wife Patricia; his son Peter Hurd (Kim Perlow); his grandsons, Henry and Alexander of London, England; his son Andrew Hurd (Simrin Singh); his grandchild Aman of Colombo; his son Amsterdam; his stepdaughter Kristin McDonald (Tom) of Fayetteville; his stepgrandchildren, Justin (Maggie), Meghan (Rick Bennett) and Mitchell (Sarah); his stepdaughter Susan Miller of Twinsburg; his stepgrandchildren, Stefanie (Evan Finley), Jordan (Breon Price) and Lauren Miller; his brother Herbert Hurd (Lorna) of Fort Mill, SC; his sister-in-law Alice Hurd; his sisters, Nancy Doremus (Charles) of Grand River and Linda Harvey (Larry) of Acworth, GA; his sister-in-law Chari Hurd of Akron; and his great grandchildren, Ivy, Aria and Ella. He is also survived by three sisters.
