Ruth Ann Baynes Obituary
In loving memory of Ruth Ann Baynes of Akron, Ohio, who departed this world on July 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Ruth Ann leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Martin and Mildred Martin; her husband Will Baynes; and her brothers, William and Gary Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Jones, Cheryl Heaton and Lori Jones; her stepchildren, Donna Simons, Barb Suszter (Rick) and Roy Baynes (Santa); her brother Richard Martin (Karen); and her grandchildren, Austin (Megan), Andrew (Tori), Alex, Lindsay (Tom), Brittney, John and Emily (Mason). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
