It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Louise Ewing of Akron, Ohio, born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Laverne Zimmerman (Taylor) and John Ralph Zimmerman of Scottdale, PA.; her husband Whit; her sister Barbara Kearney; her siblings-in-law, Marie Zimmerman, Dawn Sherwood, Pinky Sherwood and Ron Kearney; her nephew Patrick Sherwood; and her nieces, Shana Enos and Wendy Galloway.

She is survived by: her former husband John Whitaker; her children, Kisa Weeman (Ben) of Wooster, OH and Kurt Ewing (Tricia) of Akron; her siblings, Jack Zimmerman and Janie Enos (Tony) of Pa; and her grandchildren, Jackson, Ellie, Joel and David.
