He is survived by: his wife Anne Johnston Barker; his daughter Jessica Barker Parris; his son-in-law Jamie; his grandchildren, Sumner, Grayson and Meade; his son Jason Reed Barker; his daughter-in-law Guro; his brother William David Barker; his daughter Lisa; his siblings-in-law, Ben Johnston (Betty Davis) and Susan Cotton; his extended family, Ben Cotton (Nicole) and Lyndsey Yocum (Kyle); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Piper, Palmer Cotton, Kailyn Aulsbrook, Grant Aulsbrook and Reid Yocum.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Family request no flowers, donations can be made to the Hokes Bluff 1st Methodist Church.
