She was predeceased by: her mother Elmira Jones; and her brother Raymond Jones. She is survived by: her children, Tara Renee Benson and Vincent Benson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Brandon Benson and Jasmine Benson-Williams; her great grandchildren, Cameron and Jax; her brother John "Phil" Jones; and her former husband Vincent Benson, Sr.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Tanya enjoyed donating to the homeless via Haven of Rest, music, going to concerts in the park, dining out, visiting the casino, watching movies, going to the theater and spending time with her family.
