He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Marttala and Aino Marttala (Orrenmaa); his wife Joan Redlin; his daughter Kayla Collins (Brandon); his grandchildren, Oliver and Elina Collins; and his siblings, Henry Marttala (Linda), Linda McClintock (Scott) and Judy Morella.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his honor to Habitat for Humanity of Summit County, an organization near and dear to his heart.
