He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Plazo and Josephine Plazo (Connolly); his wife Marilyn; and his siblings, Catherine Hager, Mary Factor, Sam Plazo, Rita Green, Eileen Jackson and Paul Plazo.
He is survived by: his daughter Anita Dilucente (Tony); his grandchild Ali Nowac; and his caregiver Tracey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (4019 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
