Timothy Wayne Portis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Wayne Portis (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Sally H. Portis; his brother James C. Portis II; his daughter Tamara L. Portis; and his cousins, Clarice and Charles Starks.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Portis; his father James C. Portis Sr.; his children, Timothy W. Portis II (Tylar), James C Portis III and Devine H. Portis; his siblings, Jaque Butler, Edward Hamilton and Jeffrey Stevenson; his grandchildren, TayLynn Portis, Brooklyn and Bryson Clack; and his cousin Dejohn Stroud. He is also survived by cousins, friends, and other family members.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home (529 W Thornton St, Akron, OH 44307).
