He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Eugene and Marylue Sykes. He is survived by : his brother Ronald Eugene Sykes (Ricky); his girlfriend Angel Knighton; his sister Sally (Sam); his children, Tonae Marsh, Tonia Hargrove and Anthony; and his grandchildren, Jalyn Morrison, Lamar Hargrove and La'niya Hargrove. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rhoden Memorial (1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, OH 44306). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
