He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn L. Varner and Robert L. Varner Jr.; his sister Renee Varner; and his son Victor Varner II. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Quarterman-Varner; his brother Michael "Varney" Varner; his children, Kendra Conrad (David), Gabriel, Raeshawn, Christian and Anthony Varner; his aunt Ethel Oden; his close friend Peach; his cousin Billy; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Lee, Ernestine Stallworth, Irene Harris, Geneva Williams, Margie Brooks (Ronnie), Rosalyn Sanchez, Lovell Foster, Tommie Quarterman (Patrice), Graylan Quarterman (Camellia) and Bernie Quarterman (Dorothy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
