Wilma Baranchik Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 18, 2023, at the age of 97, Wilma Baranchik of Akron, Ohio, born in Belle Valley, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vasil (William) and Helen. She is survived by: her son Ronald (Jackie); her grandchildren, Brooke (Ryan) and Patrick; her nibling Jean; her great-nephew Nicholas (Emy); her great-niece Natalie (Mike); and her siblings, Anne, Mary, John, Michael, Peter, William, Julia, Andrew, Helen, Margaret, Pauline, Nicholas, Paul and Irene. She is also survived by great-great-nieces and nephews, and a great-great-great niece and nephew.
Wilma graduated from East High School on D-Day, though her heart forever remained in her original home town with her Belle Valley classmates, with whom she celebrated each year at their Alumni Banquet until Covid arrived.
