With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma J. Mercer formerly of Akron, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Wilma departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wilma may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the legacy Wilma leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Amos Crosston and Lucille Crosston (Wilson); and her siblings, Richard (James Breedlove), Wilburt, Frank, John, Betty, Beatrice and Mary.

She is survived by : her daughter Joyce; her son-in-law Michael Flanagan; and her sister Jackie Hill (Jerry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews she loved.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
