He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Collins and Bessie Moore; his sisters, Joann Dobbins, Barbara Applegarth and Hilda Watson; and his stepson John Gussey.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Collins; his sons, Brian Collins (Shawn) and Winston Collins (Shannon); his stepdaughter Tish Jackson; his grandchildren, Kyle (Tiffany), Meredith, Deion and DeVon (Olivia); his great grandchildren, Kallum, Weston, Lily and Landon; his brother Harold Bennet Jr.; and his cousin Jane Smith.

Those who wish may make memorial donations in Winston's name to the Parkinson's Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
