With sadness, we share the passing of David Hale of Albany, Ohio. David, born on October 3, 1951, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hale and Allie Hale (Prater) of McArthur, Ohio.; his siblings, Wallace Hale, Charles Hale, Shirlene Amerine, Emma Norris, Chris Hale, Sarah Hale and Ellis James Hale; his great grandchild Saxton Barr; his mother-in-law Hazel Baxter (Clyde); and his close friend Willie.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Hale of Albany; his sons, John "JJ" Hale (Trisha) of Jackson, Ohio, Brian Hale (Kelly) of Carbondale, Ohio, Chad Hale (Teresa) of Albany, Ohio and Nathan Hale of Albany, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Caitlin Barr (Eli) and Blaine Hale; his stepgrandchild Jesse Adams (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Eliana, Eli and Cayden; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Clay, Rhett and Clara; his siblings, Wanda Hale, Marvin Hale (late Paula), Gary Hale (Jeni), Glenn Hale (Judy) and Billy Hale; his brother-in-law Neil Martin (Linda); and his pet Tate.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home (5258 Washington Rd, Albany, OH 45710). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
