She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Blackford and Vivian Blackford (Joy); and her siblings, Robley "Buddy" Blackford, Lois Johnson (Blackford), Robert "Bobby" Blackford and Betty.
She is survived by: her husband James L. Sickels; her son Jamey Sickels; her daughter-in-law Kendra; her son Brian Sickels; her daughter-in-law Erin; and her grandchildren, Dillon, Hannah, Abigail and Sarah. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home (5258 Washington Rd, Albany, OH 45710). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Linda's memory to the Athens County Food Pantry.
