She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Mitchell and Myrtle Nickels Mitchell; her husband Darrell W. Young; and her children, Darrell James Young and Brenda Cullison.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila (Bobby Gettings), Robert and Haley; her siblings, Bessie Irvin, Joan Roe (Bill), Virgine Roe (Chuck), Betty Humphrey (Bill), Richard Mitchell (Sondra), Jack Mitchell (Korey), Jerry Mitchell (Lynn) and Paul (Tammy Dryden); her close friend Glory; her siblings, Emmet, Roy Dean Mitchell, Charolet Bauman and Marilyn Boyd; her grandson Darrell James Jr.; and her great grandchild Tyler. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home (5258 Washington Rd, Albany, OH 45710). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Burlingham Cemetery (40566 Burlingham Rd, Shade, OH 45776).
