He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Bartlett and Nellie Halbirt Bartlett; his wife Norma Lovsey Bartlett; his children, Gary L. Bartlett and Lisa L. Bartlett; his son-in-law Dave Hamill; and his brothers, Joseph Bartlett and Charles Bartlett.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Bartlett of Albany; his grandchildren, Brian Bartlett of Albany, Bradley Bartlett of Lancaster, Tiffany Hamill of Fort Wayne and Kate Hamill of Albany; and his great grandchildren, Braden Smith of Albany, Gabriella Hollman of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Isabella Hollman Grehl (Taylor Grehl) of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
