He was predeceased by: his parents, Zellars Preece and Norma Preece (Moore); and his siblings, Hershel, Lloyd, Charlie Preece, Vernedith Spence, Arlene Moore and Sue Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta M. Preece; his children, Jim Preece (Georgette) and Paula Toler (Scott); his grandchildren, Misty Skaggs (Hunter), James Preece, Charlie Preece, Amanda Toler and Billie Nicole Toler; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Hannah Skaggs, Carsyn Preston, Elliot Grau, Jackson, Sawyer Shaffer, Mikey Valentine and Lincoln Booth; and his brother Paul Preece.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
