We bid farewell to Steve Shepherd Sr. of Alger, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Steve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Shepherd and Berta Shepherd (Moore); his wife Betty Shepherd (Patrick); and his sons, Randall Shepherd and Steve Shepherd, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Shepherd of Alger, Timmy Shepherd of Alger, Wanda Rader (Glenn) of Dunkirk, Carol Cochrane (Tom) of Ada and Vickie Norman (Ulf) of McGuffey; and his siblings, Owen Shepherd (Phyllis), Geneva Marshall, Marlene Howard, Virginia Shepherd and Mabel Moore. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
