He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Reverend Herbert Spencer Garnes, Jr. and Betty Reese Garnes; wife: Cindy; daughters: Sara (Mike) Picone and Rachel (Brian) Baker; grandchildren: Michael (Kate) Picone, Domenic Picone, Samuel, Reese and Molly Hays; brothers: Rev. Herbert Spencer Garnes, III and William (Bill) (Lisa) Garnes; nephew: Herbert (Bert) Spencer Garnes IV (Kris); sister-in-law: Debbie Garnes; caregiver: Elara Hospice Nurses and Aides; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (3295 S Union Ave, Alliance, OH 44601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (3295 S Union Ave, Alliance, OH 44601).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Castle Crusaders (supporting Glamorgan Castle).
