She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Hockensmith; her husband Donald Witts; her former husband Irvin Johnson; and her siblings, Richard Hockensmith, Beverly Kail (Hockensmith) and Betty Marie Waid (Hockensmith).
She is survived by: her former husband Bruce Gilbert; and her children, Scott (Kathy Gilbert), Susan Rue (Gilbert), Eugene Rue and Randy Gilbert. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
