She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl P. Leiter and Evelyn M. Leiter (Apperson); and her grandson Zach Definbaugh. She is survived by: her husband Danny; her children, Christy Definbaugh (Jason) and Nick Loar (Amanda); her grandchildren, Jake Definbaugh and Morgan Loar; her brother Philip Leiter (Rebecca Benson Leiter); and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
