She was predeceased by: her parents, Brunner Rogers and Nancy Rogers (Young); her husband Allen Ford; her siblings, Carl, Eugene, Roosevelt, James, Gerald, Roy Rogers, Marie Starks and Bernice Johnson; and her daughter Dawn Renee Rogers.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Johnson; and her nieces, Joyce Goode, Monica Williams and Tracy Gordan. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
