He is survived by: his sons, Clifford E. Jones Jr. and Franklin Jones; his grandchildren, Breonna, Savannah and Jaxson; and his sisters, Catherine Jones, Marilyn Cooper, Constance and Viola Oaks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
