He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Byers and Mary Byers (Wright); his wife Carolyn Faye Byers (Bonura); his daughter Jennifer M. Byers; and his brother Gary Byers.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn M. Skeens (David), Kristen I. Weekly (Robert) and Donald E. Byers Jr. (Valerie); his brothers, Kenneth Byers and Raymond Byers; and his grandchildren, Michael, Devin, Ashlee, Brett, Trevor, Audry, Brandy, Wyatt, Branton, Audrie, Derek, Bart, Madison, Chris and McKenna. He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion (395 W California Ave, Sebring, OH 44672).
