He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Peterson and Josephine Peterson (Hoiles); and his wife Dianna (Sotcan). He is survived by: his sister Jill McCarty (John) of Lexington, KY; his son Donald Peterson, III (Christine) of Canton, OH; his grandsons, Donald IV (Pete) and John William; his daughter Molly (Tom Peters) of Fort Pierce; his grandchildren, Quentin, Logan, Wyatt, Jon Bezon (Jennie) of Sylvania, OH and Jodi Schmidt (Chuck) of Macedonia, OH; his great grandchildren, William and Jackson; his granddaughter Jill Bezon-Mason of Vass; and his close friend Deborah Candito of Naples, FL. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
