He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Brugger and Cleo Brugger; his brother Dwaine; and his brother-in-law Hal Harris. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann (Wallace); his sister Irene Harris; his sister-in-law Darlene Brugger; his children, Marie Sanders (Dave), Eileen Rummell (Kenny), Chris Wolf (Bruce) and Eldon Brugger (Shari); and his grandchildren, Michelle Kenney (Bill), Valerie Slabaugh (Eli), Jeremy Sanders (JoEllen), Rachel Krabill (Jon), Lydia Hammond, Hannah Cress (Greg), Issac Rummell (Chelsea), Melissa Slusni, Jenna Scafidi (Bryan), Tiffany Belknap (Farrell), Lindsay Sheen (Nate), Bethany Kinnard (Nick) and Brittany McCracken (Eric). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care in Green, Ohio and Salem Community Church.
