It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edgar Hunter Sloane (Alliance, Ohio), born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar H. Sloane and Louise A. Sloane (Brooks); and his brother Douglas R. Sloane (Ted). He is survived by: his children, Todd H. Sloane (Theresa), Shanna E. Cook (Jon) and Holly M. Sloane (Sharif Garrison); his grandchildren, Zach, Jacob, Jenna, Tyler, McKenzie, Carolyn, Ethan, Isabella, Andre, Christipher, Elijah and Makayla; his great grandchildren, Ava and Owen; and his sister Tammy A. Johnson (Chuck).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Aviator Sports Boosters, P.O. Box 3332, Alliance, OH, 44601.
