It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edison Napier Jr. (Alliance, Ohio), born in Gilbertown, Alabama, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edison Sr. Napier and Carrie Napier; his siblings, Carolina Napier and Thomas Napier; his son Marc Edison Napier; and his siblings, Elmer Napier and Tanya Hancock.
He is survived by: his children, Sam Wood, Carrie Napier-Barwick and Era Napier; his former wife Sherry Napier; his stepchildren, Yuvonne Irvin, Scott Lowery and Don Paul Lowery; and his sisters, Corinne Jones and Francine Taylor. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
