He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Mitchell and Elsie M. Mitchell (Perdue). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Alma Mitchell; his children, James E. Mitchell (Barbara), David L. Mitchell (Beth), Daniel R. Mitchell (Rhonda) and Janice L. Sickle (David); his sister Doris Miller; and his friend Ardis Drewyor. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
