She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Thorpe; her sister Sheila Pohjala (Ed); and her siblings-in-law, James, Jerry Thorpe (Jean) and Cecilia Laughlin (Kirby).
She is survived by: her children, James E. Thorpe (Peggy) of Avon Lake, OH, Cathy J. Brown (Ronald) of Louisville, OH, Carol J. Deiderich (Nathaniel) of Cumming and Nancy E. Oberer (Fred) of Frederick, MD.; her granddaughter Jamie Van Horn (Jacob); her stepgranddaughters, Grace, Megan (Matt Gerber) and Jessica Oberer; and her sister-in-law Joyce Thorpe.
